A female Labor MP has today revealed the collection of love notes she claims Kelvin Hopkins sent her in 20 years of 'upsetting' and unwanted harassment.
Kerry McCarthy has unveiled a cache of letters, birthday and postcards which she says the veterans Labor MP sent her in two decades of pestering
The notes allegedly began in 1994 when she was a young Labor activist and went out for lunch with Mr. Hopkins believing they would solely talk politics.
This is the latest news to rock.

Ava Etemadzadeh, 27, complained to Jeremy Corbyn's office claiming that the veteran married MP rubbed his crotch against her. Several Conservative and Labor MPs are currently being investigated over claims of sexual misconduct.
On Sunday Conservative MP Chris Pincher stepped down as a government whip after allegations about his behavior.
It follows the resignation of Sir Michael Fallon as the secretary of the First Assembly of State of Damian Green.
And earlier this week Welsh politician Carl Sargeant was found dead at his home after he was suspended from the Labor Party pending an investigation into the prompt behavior claims.

Kelvin Hopkins is said to have printed off photos of Kerry McCarthy and said they do not just as well as he pestered her in love letters. She says he knows what he was doing was 'wrong' 
Kelvin Hopkins allegedly sent his younger Labor colleague love letters and cards dating back a staggering 20 years Ms McCarthy today said she was inspired to come forward and reveal her experience because of Ms Etemadzadeh's bravery.
In letters published to the press, Mr. Hopkins allegedly wrote to Ms McCarthy to say he had taken her out because 'you are attractive, intelligent and charming'.
In another note sent less than 2 years ago he told the MP had a 'nice dream' about her the night before.
The married politician, 76, later told his parliamentary colleague to 'dispose' of some of the notes after she read them.
Ms McCarthy, who is also an MP, said: 'I never responded to him any encouragement in any way, I tried to keep my distance as much as possible.'
The 76 year-old Labor Mp is even said to have sent his younger colleague postcards while he was away on holiday pining for her 'I believe in this behavior unacceptable. It's me feel uncomfortable in his presence and was quite upsetting. '

The former shadow environment secretary is the first MP to make specific claims of settlements since the Westminster scandal erupted.
The Bristol East MP said she found her behavior 'upsetting' but did not feel she had anything to turn about it.
She said she had been reassured and encouraged by the Jeremy Corbyn's office on Monday.
But in a statement, Mr Hopkins said Ms McCarthy's complaint had caused him 'immense personal hurt and utter dismay' from someone he counted as a friend.
He added: 'I can not understand why a parliamentarian of such experience and standing, who is not to say that she was unhappy with any
'At a minimum I would have expected a Parliamentary colleague to raise any complaint through normal channels, allowing me due process and a fair chance to defend mysel f, if necessary. '
He was suspended by Labor after Ms Etemadzadeh contacted the party again with the first information about MP back in 2014 and 2015.
Jeremy Corbyn has faced fierce criticism after it emerged that Mr. Hopkins reprimanded at the time by then chief whip Dame Rosie Winterton but was made a shadow culture secretary in 2016 anyway.

Ms McCarthy first met Mr Hopkins
In 1994, when she was chairwoman of the Luton North Constituency Labor Party (CLP) and he chaired Luton South CLP, they went out for lunch, with Ms. McCarthy believing it was solely to discuss political issues.
He later sent her a card saying he had invited her 'because you are attractive, intelligent and ch (19459002) In a second note, Mr. Hopkins enclosed a photograph of Ms McCarthy and described her as 'pretty' ]

Ms McCarthy said she went to another lunch with Mr Hopkins because she found it awkward to say no to the invitation but he soon pestered her to meet again.
Ms McCarthy said Mr Hopkins posted his hand on hers in the run-up to the 1997 General Election said: 'You know I think you are lovely ... but I never see enough of you ... after May 1st perhaps ... K x'
The letters then stopped until her 50th birthday, when Mr Hopkins sent a note on parliamentary writing paper to mark the occasion. By this time Ms McCarthy was an MP.
A final letter was sent some time in 2015/16 but it was not written if it was written after he was reprimanded for the incident involving Ms Etemadzadeh.
In it, he described having a dream about Ms McCarthy and said she remained a 'very attractive woman'.
'I was upset by the unwanted attention. When it returned, I felt very angry, 'she said.
The Labor MP said it was important, as an older woman, to back up Ms Etemadzadeh.
' You have a young woman who has been brave enough to speak out of it, 'she said.
' It is up to every woman to decide if they want to speak out or not. I did not feel I could stay silent when my experience was so similar to hers. '
Ms McCarthy warned there is a wider cultural problem of how men in politics could deter some females from entering politics.
She added: 'I have spoken to the chief whip and Jeremy Corbyn' s office about it I brought it to their attention. '
Mr Hopkins' statement continued:' If Kerry McCarthy MP raises a complaint with the Labor Party in the normal and fair way, I will of course fully cooperate with any investigation.
'However I do not want to have anything to say about it.
'I am a 76-year old man and the stress this has ca used to me and my family is unbearable.
'All I ask for is proper due process and not to be convicted and vilified by the press to be. '

The first missive was a card after a lunch when Ms McCarthy became involved with the Labor constituency party in Luton.
It said: 'Kerry, Just to say thank you for the pleasure of your company yesterday.

'I would like to do it again sometime. this once read! Keep well away from Luton. '
The second note, which came soon after and included a photograph of Ms McCarthy, said:' I think this is pretty much a woman. Hope you like it. K x

Notes wishing her a birthday and revealing he dreamed about her letters Kerry McCarthy allegedly received from Kelvin Hopkins over many years A postcard was sent in an envelope to Ms McCarthy's then workplace, Merrill Lynch, which includes the passage: 'If Linklaters employ tall blondes, does Merrill L specialize in pretty, petite brunettes?'
It was signed: 'Love Kelvin xx.'
'Kerry, Thanks for an enjoyable lunch last Wednesday.'
Mr Hopkins said he had bought a bottle of wine to give to her
It ended: 'It would be nice to meet again - lots more to talk about.'
A later note sent in the run-up to the 1997 general election said: 'You know I think you are lovely ..... but I never see enough of you ..... after May 1st perhaps ... K x. '
The next, written on p arliamentary note paper, arrived in March 2015 after Ms McCarthy turned 50.
It said: 'Dear Kerry, Many happy returns on your birthday! ... and remember '50 is the new 30 '. Kelvin x
'PS 9 MPs' birthday today - statistically improbable (1: 8 average) William Hague ... and Richard Dawkins Among others today.'
Another came near the end of 2015 or the beginning of 2016.
It said: 'Dear Kerry, Lucy's sister Canvassed home in Limbury on Sunday. She was ok but left a message.
'Strangely, I dreamed about you the following night. A nice dream.
'Much time has passed but I do remember earlier times ... and you still a very attractive woman.
' Would be nice to catch up sometime. X. '
